The documentary film Women of the Gulag tells the compelling and tragic stories of six women in their eighties and nineties as last survivors of the Gulag. They tell their stories while going about their daily lives in remote Urals villages, in break-away Sukhumi, or in Moscow suburbs.
Women of the Gulag has been shortlisted (from 104 to 10 finalists) for the 91st OSCARS® in the documentary short subject category.
We worked closely with the film director, Marianna Yarovskaya, to provide branding and web design services. Our team is grateful for the incredible opportunity to work on the project.
Yelena and the team did my film page just in time for the Academy Awards campaign. From a design perspective, the site they built is really incredible!
