Web Design Grants

web design grants for nonprofits offered as in-kind services

Web design grants for nonprofits

We offer web design grants as in-kind services to support forward-thinking nonprofit organizations that align well with our core values. Over the last four years, we have dedicated over 2,000 hours to pro bono work, ensuring that local nonprofits gain a competitive edge over larger national and global organizations. We are committed to supporting the growth and impact of organizations that make a difference in our communities, and this pro bono work is a testament to that commitment. It is our way of giving back and helping organizations with limited resources thrive in their missions.

Web Design Grants Eligibility

Is my Nonprofit Eligible for a Web Design Grant?

To be eligible for our in-kind website design grants, your organization must maintain an office(s) in the United States and provide proof of its charitable status (such as the most recent 990, 990-EZ, or 990-PF.) Each applicant must submit a statement detailing their organization’s budget allocated for the project. In addition, your organization needs to provide information about funding sources, breakdown of available funds, and the desired payment schedule.

Please keep in mind that on average, the amount of our in-kind contribution will cover 15% to 25% of the total estimated project cost. Questions? Check our FAQs.

    In-kind web design grants

    An in-kind contribution is a contribution of a good or a service other than money. We provide in-kind web design and marketing services to qualified nonprofit organizations by donating our time and expertise.

    No, there are no specific deadlines. Applications for Web Design and Marketing Grants are currently being accepted and reviewed on an ongoing basis. With that said, your organization will have a better chance of being selected for a grant if you submit your application during our slow-season, between late spring and early fall.

    In most cases, the answer would be, no. We offer in-kind grants to US nonprofits that have an office(s) in the United States, and are able to provide a proof of its charitable status, and its most recent 990, 990-EZ, or 990-PF.

    A complete application will include:

    1. Completion of the online submission form;
    2. Proof of charitable status (Tax Exempt Organization determination letter);
    3. Organization's statement confirming the budget allocated for the project;
    4. Any supporting documents such as RFPs, SOW, and etc.

    Upon submission of the application form, you will receive a confirmation email along with a list of questions about your project. Your answers will help us learn more about specific project goals and will inform our decision.

    Because of the large volume of applications that we receive, we are unable to provide personalized feedback on every inquiry. If your proposed project is not seen as a strong match to our team's priorities, or if there is no budget allocated for the project, or the project is significantly underfunded, you will not receive any specific feedback on your inquiry.

    The overall grant amount is calculated as a total of pro bono hours our team is willing to contribute towards the project multiplied by our hourly rate of $150.00. The maximum amount awarded for any select project is $10,000.
