The Peace Studio equips artists and journalists with opportunities and strengths-based tools to restore hope, challenge injustice, and bridge divides. It was co-founded in 2016 by Dr. Maya Soetoro-Ng, a peace scholar and author, living in Hawaii, and Todd Shuster and Jennifer Gates of Aevitas Creative Management.
In November of 2019, The Peace Studio officially merged with Images and Voices of Hope (ivoh), a nonprofit founded in 1999 when nearly 180 media professionals gathered in New York City to discuss the media’s impact on society. In coming together in 2019, The Peace Studio and ivoh recognized that both organizations were deeply aligned in their missions to support culture creators (artists and journalists) as peacebuilding leaders and could more quickly elevate narratives in the media that focused on hope and possibility instead of solely on what’s broken.
The Peace Studio came to LMIT8 to redesign their website and combine what were two separate organizations—The Peace Studio and Images and Voices of Hope—under the TPS brand, while seamlessly merging the extensive content from both websites into a unified, accessible user experience.
The result
Through close collaboration with The Peace Studio leadership, LIMIT8 successfully redesigned the website. We crafted a holistic brand and content strategy and established an information architecture facilitating seamless access to ivoh’s vast resource library. This ensured a cohesive digital experience across multiple platforms and devices.
LIMIT8 remains committed to collaborating with the TPS team for ongoing website maintenance and content updates.
