New Design High School is a college preparatory high school where graduation requirements are consistent with those requirements for college admittance. It is not just a high school, it’s also a “Youth Development Shop” where in addition to their academic responsibilities, students develop problem-solving, critical thinking and social-emotional skills. The school offers students a chance to explore fashion, furniture, construction and digital media through design.
